Internet Governance Forum: Identifying the Impact Study

“IGF: Identifying the Impact” is a new Diplo publication that will be launched at the upcoming IGF in Sharm El Sheikh, November 14th.
“IGF: Identifying the Impact” is a research study on the impact of the Internet Governance Forum which is the result of a cooperative effort of DiploFoundation, AT&T, the Commonwealth Internet Governance Forum and the Arab Republic of Egypt Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in a true multistakeholder spirit.
The publication encompasses the presentation of online survey results from more than 200 participants from all world regions and 81 countries, as well as in-depth analysis of interviews with 30 IG experts and IGF contributors that provide their assessment of the impact of the IGF. Contributions from the IGF Secretariat and its fellows, the Commonwealth IGF, host countries of previous and the 2009 Sharm El Sheikh IGF, the Summer School on Internet Governance, the Global Internet Governance Academic Network (GigaNet) and others are also included.
